First things first! Thank you all for the wonderful efforts on this project! Have been test-using it for 2-3 months now, and really love it!
Since yesterday, when I performed an update (system update and multiple apps such as calculator, weather etc, all going to version 50.0), the Settings app was lost. I can find it in the “Software” app (v48.2, under droidian-rolling-main repo), but when I try to installl it, I get a message:
“Incorrect permissions on /usr/lib/polkit-1/polkit-agent-helper-1 (needs to be setuid root)”.
Entering my root password to the above window leads to authentication failure.
In this current state, I can no longer access any settings on the device. Is there any way to recover it without loosing user data?
Maybe try and download and install the app locally?
It’ll resolve the issue but you’ll be reverted back to 101 (if you’re on 102) which is probably fine unless you need it for VoLTE. It’ll put you on the Stable build as opposed to the Nightly build
If you’re using a note 9 pro is there any chance you can send me a link to wherever you got the A10 image from that’s required for installing droidian? I’d love to join the party, but Xiaomi have pulled the download, so I’m f****d now… can’t seem to find it anywhere…
